Job Description
Reporting to Segment / OU FP&A leadership, the Finance Manager is responsible for leading Manila-based FP&A support activities for assigned Segments and Operating Units (OUs). The role serves as an extension of the onshore FP&A organization by providing high-quality financial analysis, planning support, management reporting, financial consolidations, and decision-support materials that enable finance leaders to focus on strategic business partnering.
The Finance Manager partners closely with Segment / OU FP&A leaders, Operations Finance Business Partners, Accounting, and other cross-functional stakeholders to support forecasting, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Long-Range Planning (LRP), month-end reporting, financial performance analysis, and executive reporting. The role is also responsible for managing standardized reporting processes, coordinating planning activities, driving reporting automation, and continuously improving FP&A processes across assigned business areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning & Forecasting Support
• Lead Manila support activities for Forecast, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and Long-Range Planning (LRP) processes for assigned Segment and Operating Units, including 3-statement financial modeling support
• Coordinate financial consolidations, planning system updates, and planning templates to support onshore FP&A teams throughout planning cycles.
• Prepare planning materials, financial schedules, scenario analyses, and supporting documentation for leadership review.
• Support planning governance by coordinating timelines, collecting submissions, and ensuring timely completion of planning deliverables.
Financial Reporting & Performance Management
• Lead preparation of recurring management reporting packages, executive presentations, EBITDA bridges, KPI dashboards, scorecards, and financial reporting deliverables for the assigned Segment and Operating Units.
• Consolidate financial results across assigned business areas and perform preliminary variance analysis against forecast, budget, prior year, and strategic targets.
• Identify unusual trends, risks, and opportunities and provide analytical support to Segment / OU FP&A leadership during monthly business reviews.
• Support reporting of productivity initiatives, savings programs, commercial performance, capital performance, inventory, and working capital metrics.
• Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, standardized, and delivered within established timelines. Financial Analysis & Decision Support
• Develop financial analyses supporting business cases, investment evaluations, recurring business initiatives, and ad hoc leadership requests.
• Perform profitability analysis, commercial performance analysis, margin analysis, and financial modeling to support Segment / OU FP&A decision making.
• Prepare executive-ready materials that summarize financial results, key business drivers, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
• Partner with onshore FP&A teams to provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Team Leadership
• Manage, coach, and develop Manila-based FP&A analysts while ensuring high-quality deliverables across all assigned responsibilities.
• Assign work, establish priorities, monitor workload, and ensure service level expectations are consistently achieved.
Stakeholder Partnership
• Build strong working relationships with stakeholders.
• Deliver high-quality analytical support while maintaining strong customer service and responsiveness to business needs.
• Actively identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of finance support provided by the Manila organization.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive finance or FP&A experience, preferably within a multinational organization.
- Prior experience leading or supervising finance professionals.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, management reporting, and financial performance management.
- Experience supporting corporate functions, SG&A, or indirect cost organizations preferred.
- Experience with SAP, BIA / B4P / HANA, OneStream, or similar ERP and planning systems.
- Advanced financial modeling skills using Excel, VBA, or Power Query.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms preferred.
