Summary
  • This position performs Nuclear Medicine procedures, provides patient services using imaging modalities, applies principles of radiation protection, and evaluates images for technical quality. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures, provides patient care essential to imaging procedures.
  • This position works under the supervision of the Director, Assistant Team Leader, and Lead Technologist in the Radiology Department and is employed by Mosaic Health System
Duties
  • Interpret a provider's instructions.
  • Prepare patients for procedures.
  • Select imaging parameters.
  • View images from an imaging session and keep records of the results.
  • Review and complete patient exam and charges within the radiology information system.
Qualifications
  • Completion of approved program in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB or Registry Eligible. If registry eligible, must complete NMTCB or NMARRT registry within one-year of completed clinical training in Nuclear Medicine. BLS certification required.
  • Six months experience preferred.
