This position works under the direction of an RN\\LPN or Provider. This position administers quality patient care according to established standards. This position may be required to work in other areas according to skill of staff and acuity of patients. This position provides exceptional service to all patients and customers.
This position works under the supervision of the Director and is employed by Mosaic Health System.

Duties

Completes daily Activities of Daily Living to meet patient’s needs i.e. personal hygiene, dressing patients, linen change.
Feeding patients as indicated; Records food and fluid intake and output when appropriate.
Takes and records vital signs including pulse oximetry.
Transports patients as appropriate.
Lifts, turns, repositions and ambulates patients, alone or with assistance.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

H.S. Diploma required. This six week training program will provide hands on training and education to prepare a caregiver for a Patient Care Associate / Nursing Assistant position. Preferred candidates with desire to go into a healthcare field such as Nursing, Radiology, or other patient care setting.
BCLS - Basic Life Support required within 90 days of hire.
