- Practice Details:
- 70% inpatient / 30% outpatient
- Outpatient clinic: Tues & Thurs, 1–4:30 PM
- On-call every 3rd weekend
- Provide inpatient/outpatient consults and post-procedure rounds
- Perform diagnostic tests, physical exams, and histories
- Conduct radiologic procedures (e.g., paracentesis, thoracentesis, PICC, ports, biopsies)
- Maintain accurate records and treatment plans
- Collaborate with IR physicians, referring providers, and patients
- Support IR practice growth and ensure timely referrals
- Successful completion of an APRN master’s nursing degree or graduate of accredited PA program
- Current Missouri license preferred or the ability to obtain licensure
- Current DEA licensure
- Perform basic procedures and H&Ps consistent with training
- Possess ability to work independently/autonomously and interdependently with other health care professionals
- Have extensive patient assessment skills using diagnostic methods and instruments with the ability to develop appropriate care plans, modifying as indicated
- Possess effective communication skills and interpersonal skills with patients, families and members of the health care team
- Successful completion of a CNS or APRN master’s degree in a nursing program in the specialty area or must demonstrate successful completion of a formal post-graduate track or accredited program (within the specialty area) within a school of nursing granted graduate-level academic credit (e.g. graduate, non-matriculating program)
- Licensed in state of Missouri or Kansas, depending upon designated work location. Must be currently certified by a nationally recognized certifying body acceptable to the Missouri or Kansas State Board of Nursing as well as hold and maintain a current Document of Recognition
