Summary
  • Reports to the Administrator of Mosaic Medical Center-Albany. Intern, will learn the daily routines and procedures of the various departments of the hospital and its clinics, with a special attention to his/her interest within the healthcare scope. Focus on learning how the organization operates and expected to gain valuable insight that can further chosen career field. In addition to clinical and office duties, will have the opportunity to meet managers, executives, and Officers of the Organization.
  • Schedule will be based on student's availability. Opportunities to visit and work with leaders across all Medical Centers and Clinics within the system.
  • This position is employed by Mosaic Health System.
Duties
  • Assists the assigned department with a variety of clerical duties including typing, filing and copying.
  • Provides support as needed to create new hire folders, complete employment verifications, miscellaneous data entry, mass mailings etc.
  • Responsible for special projects as assigned.
  • Greets and assists employees/customers promptly both in person and by telephone. Provides exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
  • Enrolled in high school or college is required.
  • Computer knowledge required. Familiar with a variety of software program, including Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint.
