- Pay: $24.76 - $37.14 / hour
- This position performs all the duties of the Registered/Certified Sterile Processing Technologist. Creates and updates instrument inventory lists and checklists. Monitors inventory levels and orders supplies when needed. Coordinates with SPD and OR specialists to maintain appropriate instrument sets. Monitors and tracks instrument repairs and replacements. Manages loaner instrumentation sets. Works closely with Instrument Reps, vendors, and OR Specialists to ensure appropriate instrumentation is available. This Position works under the supervision of the Manager-OR/SPD and is employed by Mosaic Life Care.
- Successfully performs all duties of the Registered Sterile Processing Technician as required to meet customer needs or workload requirements.
- Strong knowledge of instruments/instrument sets and their usage
- Monitors and tracks instrumentation repairs and replacements
- Maintains accurate records of instrumentation
- Other duties as assigned
- All required education is a minimum requirement. Higher levels of education are acceptable. H.S. Diploma is required.
- CRCST - Certified Registered Central Service Technician is required within 90 days. Continued employment will be contingent upon maintaining registration.
- Minimum of 2 years experience is required. Must be able to perform the duties of this position within a specified time set by the Director.
