Job Description
The Senior Internal Communications Consultant is responsible for leading and delivering clear, compassionate information and education related to benefits, policies and programs that affect caregivers’ work and well-being. This position’s largest, most important customer is Human Resources, acting as a trusted advisor to both team members and leadership while remaining hands on in writing, planning and executing communication for customers across the organization.

Responsibilities
HR and Caregiver Communications
- Lead caregiver focused communications
- Write, edit, and deliver communication related Mosaic policies, programs, and updates
- Translate complex information into simple, easy-to-understand language
- Ensure messaging is clear, accurate, timely, and culturally sensitive
- Own caregiver benefits communication end to end including the creation of benefits guides, FAQs, enrollment materials, reminders and much more
- Lead communication for open enrollment and benefits changes
- Round with leaders to listen to caregivers and gather real stories
- Build trust and ask thoughtful questions to capture authentic experiences
- Write clear, engaging stories that reflect caregivers’ voices and impact
- Partner with leaders to identify and share meaningful stories
- Organize stories for use in communications, meetings and recognition
- Lead daily internal communications to caregivers
- Working with the Marketing team, act as content manager for internal communications to ensure logical flow to social media, when appropriate
- Act as project manager for internal content, notifying team members when content is due and expectations for said content including digital artwork is provided on time
- Draft and distribute messages across the intranet, email and print mediums as necessary
- Ensure caregivers receive consistent updates, reminders and announcements written between the 6th and 8th Grade Level.
- Maintain a warm, caring and supportive communication tone
- Coordinate details, including communication, of Caregiver Meetings (townhalls) ensuring rooms are reserved, snacks and drinks are available, handouts are created and distributed, quiz or survey is distributed and tallied for prize distribution
- Working with the Marketing Team, provide guidance on social media content based on internal content and organizational events, activities and recognitions
- Serve as a communications advisor to Human Resources and other cross-functional internal clients
- Provide guidance on caregiver centered messaging
- Support leaders with caregiver facing talking points and materials
- Review and improve Human Resources’ communications for clarity and impact
- Create communication plans for Human Resources and other cross-functional internal clients initiatives and changes
- Track caregiver feedback and communication effectiveness
- Recommend improvements to tools, channels and messaging approaches
- Bachelor's Degree - in Communications, Human Resources, or related field - Required
- 6-9+ Years - Human Resources or internal communications experience - Required
- Strong background in communication benefits topics- Preferred
- Previous health care communications, especially navigating special aspects of employee workflow (e.g., multiple shifts, education levels, salary levels) - Preferred
- Previous experience working with leaders at the C-suite level - Preferred
