Summary
  • Candidates residing in the following states will be considered for remote employment: Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. Remote work will not be permitted from any other state at this time
  • The Contract Analyst is responsible for the evaluation, negotiation, monitoring and administration of contracts. Contracts may include hospital, retail, physician and Mosaic Life Care provided services. The Contract Analyst is also responsible for net revenue analysis, development of RFP's, price negotiations, development and execution of negotiating strategy; and will monitor vendor quality through evaluation, and audits.
  • This position works under the supervision of the Deputy General Counsel and is employed by Mosaic Health System.
Duties
  • Performs detailed data analysis. Assists with analysis of new services or processes as needed.
  • Manages contract software in all aspects.
  • Participates\leads process improvement discussion as necessary. Provides education as needed to personnel in all departments. Assures all policies and processes have been followed, with proper stakeholder involvement, prior to finalizing contracts.
  • Coordinates contract review through attorneys as necessary.
  • Drafts contracts as necessary. Reviews contracts, analyzes, negotiates and finalizes contracts. Facilitates discussion with contract owners as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business or finance related field is preferred.
  • 1-year relative experience required. 1-year experience in health care business setting and managed care contracting preferred.
