Summary
    Join a compassionate, patient-centered team at Mosaic Life Care as a Palliative Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP). In this role you will partner with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive palliative care services for patients with serious or life-limiting illnesses. You will focus on symptom management, goals-of-care discussions, and supporting patients and families through complex medical decisions, ensuring the care aligns with each patient's preferences.

    Position highlights:
  • Collaborative, interdisciplinary palliative care team
  • Mix of 90% inpatient and 10% outpatient responsibilities
  • Night/weekend call rotation approximately every 4 weeks
  • Focus on symptom management and end-of-life planning
  • Opportunity to enroll in Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) courses to expand knowledge in palliative care and hospice

Qualifications
  • Successful completion of a CNS or APRN master’s degree in a nursing program in the specialty area or must demonstrate successful completion of a formal post-graduate track or accredited program (within the specialty area) within a school of nursing granted graduate-level academic credit (e.g. graduate, non-matriculating program)
  • Licensed in state of Missouri or Kansas, depending upon designated work location. Must be currently certified by a nationally recognized certifying body acceptable to the Missouri or Kansas State Board of Nursing as well as hold and maintain a current Document of Recognition
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS Certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical setting preferred
