Summary

• This position provides the technical knowledge and expertise to safely and accurately perform ultrasound scans, vascular lab procedures and other related procedures as requested.
• This position works under the supervision of the Director, ATL, and Lead Technologist in Radiology and is employed by Mosaic Health System.
  
  

Duties

• Interpret a provider's instructions.
• Screen patients for safety.
• Explain procedures to patients.
• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Select imaging parameters when adjusting an ultrasound machine.
  
  

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion or in process of completing an approved Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program which includes general ultrasound and vascular as well as OB.
• Preferred registered by ARRT or other professional medical licensure. BLS or Heartsaver certification required.
