Summary
  • This position provides financial analysis and review of Mosaic's compensation programs across Mosaic Health System. Benchmarks jobs against local, regional and national survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position to keep programs attractive and competitive. Analyzes compensation survey data to make recommendations regarding market trends. Participates in the development, implementation and administration of Mosaic Health System's compensation programs in support of organizational goals and objectives. Works closely with leaders, business partners, and recruiters to administer compensation plans and ensure that employees are getting fair pay and benefits for their work.
  • This position works under the supervision of the Director and is employed by Mosaic Health System.
Duties
  • Provides financial analysis, modeling, and support of Mosaic Health System’s compensation programs.
  • Uses and maintains reporting and tracking mechanisms for managing compensation programs inclusive of performance reports, metrics, timely calculations, reconciliations, analyses and benchmarks.
  • Assists with the implementation of various pay programs (i.e. market and merit adjustments, variable pay payouts, etc). Develops timeline for implementation and works with other stakeholders to ensure the process is completed accurately and timely. Verifies correct information in payroll and individual communications.
  • Assist in analyzing current organizational pay practices and makes recommendations for salary changes to ensure equity.
  • Researches special compensation programs or incentive systems to support the organization's strategies.
  • Conducts audits of compensation related items per pay period to ensure items such as status, FTE, shift, job title, and alternate codes have been calculated and entered correctly.
  • Participate and provide data input for annual salary surveys and submit all salary surveys.
  • Prepares and maintains job descriptions for each position in the organization; ensures descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed by incumbents.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Management, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources or related field required.
  • 2 years of compensation or financial experience required.
  • Proficiency with a variety of software packages, including Word, Excel, Power Point, and the internet required.
