Summary
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of the application teams related to the acute clinical applications. Define goals and objectives and establish work plans and timelines for best utilization of resources. Develop and maintain project work plans and manage project resources/risks. Facilitate and manage all aspects of build related to the acute clinical applications across all system environments (e.g. test, training, production).
  • This position works under the supervision of the Director and is employed by Mosaic Health System.
Duties
  • Coordinate and prioritize day-to-day work effort of Application teams; a. EpicCare Inpatient, b. Willow Inpatient Pharmacy, c. Beacker, d. User Security, e. Anesthesia
  • Establish and monitor timelines, milestones and quality for team’s work.
  • Set clear performance expectations for quality and performance and hold team members accountable.
  • Assist with development of project work plans and manage special projects as needed.
  • Ensure adequate orientation, training and cross-training takes place so that back-up coverage exists for each application team member.
  • Collaborate with other Application Managers and/or team members to identify possible impacts of system build activities across all applications, interfaces and/or third-party applications and to find the best integrated solution(s) possible.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree IT, Business Administration, or related field or 5 years of related experience is required. As well as must understand acute clinical processes at both the Health System level and department level.
  • 5 years of related experience is required, as well as experience supporting clinical, ancillary, or business environments.
