Summary
Mosaic Life Care, a physician-led, multi-specialty health-care system, is recruiting an Internal Medicine APP to join our cooperative, energetic, and friendly practice in St. Joseph, MO. This position has an anticipated start date of May 2026. This position offers the security of joining an established health system with the lifestyle of practicing medicine in a comfortable and close-knit community.

NP Requirements:
  • Successful completion of an APRN master’s nursing degree or graduate of accredited PA program
  • Current Missouri license preferred or the ability to obtain licensure
  • Current DEA licensure
  • Previous primary care experience as an APP preferred
Additional Qualifications:
  • Possess ability to work independently/autonomously and interdependently with other health care professionals
  • Have extensive patient assessment skills using diagnostic methods and instruments with the ability to develop appropriate plan of care, modifying as indicated
  • Possess effective communication skills and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and members of the health care team
Qualifications
  • Successful completion of a CNS or APRN master’s degree in a nursing program in the specialty area or must demonstrate successful completion of a formal post-graduate track or accredited program (within the specialty area) within a school of nursing granted graduate-level academic credit (e.g. graduate, non-matriculating program)
  • Licensed in state of Missouri or Kansas, depending upon designated work location. Must be currently certified by a nationally recognized certifying body acceptable to the Missouri or Kansas State Board of Nursing as well as hold and maintain a current Document of Recognition
