Summary

Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with expertise in Occupational Medicine. We are seeking a provider with strong experience in occupational medicine, including Workman’s Compensation cases and coordination of care with occupational health services. The ideal candidate will be a certified DOT provider and possess a solid understanding of occupational health principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.

NP Requirements:

  • Successful completion of an APRN master’s nursing degree
  • Current Missouri license preferred or the ability to obtain licensure

Additional Qualifications:

  • Possess ability to work independently/autonomously and interdependently with other health care professionals
  • Have extensive patient assessment skills using diagnostic methods and instruments with the ability to develop appropriate plan of care, modifying as indicated
  • Possess effective communication skills and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and members of the health care team
Qualifications
  • Successful completion of a CNS or APRN master’s degree in a nursing program in the specialty area or must demonstrate successful completion of a formal post-graduate track or accredited program (within the specialty area) within a school of nursing granted graduate-level academic credit (e.g. graduate, non-matriculating program)
  • Licensed in state of Missouri or Kansas, depending upon designated work location. Must be currently certified by a nationally recognized certifying body acceptable to the Missouri or Kansas State Board of Nursing as well as hold and maintain a current Document of Recognition
