Summary
  • The IT Network Engineer I works under the direction of the IT Manager Network / Telcom to contribute in maintaining stable LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewall and WIFI operations and optimal network performance across all Mosaic Life Care locations. This includes contributing to the planning, developing and configuration of new and existing projects and technologies. Performs continual maintenance of new and existing network hardware and software. Follows best practice methods for the configuration and security of network hardware and software. Communicate to more senior network engineers and manager of any issues that may arise and provide monitoring and reporting for all aspects of Mosaic's network infrastructure and performance. Provide network support to all locations of Mosaic Life Care. This position is employed by Mosaic Life Care.
Duties
  • Support, install and administrate Mosaic Life Care’s network infrastructure including cabling, routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, LAN, WAN, and wireless hardware and software
  • Assist in performing network design and capacity planning
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Bachelor's Degree - Computer Science, Data Processing or other related area is preferred.
  • Cisco CCNA or Network + is preferred.
  • To be considered for an entry IT systems engineer position an individual should have relevant job or class room training on one or more of the foloowing Cisco Lan, Wan, VPN, Firewall and Wifi experience is required.
