Job Summary
The Athletic Facilities Assistant will assist with Athletics events, including but not limited to MWSU sport program events and external rentals. These events will most likely take place on the weekends.
Essential Duties
  • Assist with set-up and tear-down of department facilities/events
  • Oversee the weekend rentals of MWSU Athletics facilities
  • Assist customers during facility rentals and ensure all MWSU facility rental procedures and protocols are followed
  • Light, general cleaning
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • MWSU Student
  • Degree Seeking
  • At least an overall 2.0 GPA
  • Enrolled at least part-time
  • Experience or interest in college athletics
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • MWSU Student that is dependable, trustworthy and hard-working
  • Customer service is paramount to this position
  • General knowledge of various sports and athletics is helpful
Physical Demands Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

Hours of Work
  • 15 hours per week – to be scheduled as needed
  • Evening hours during the week and Weekend hours required.
