Job Summary
MoWest Softball is looking for individuals to assist with the Softball Program for the 2026 and 2027 season. This position supports the Softball program by assisting with the maintenance and improvement of the softball field, batting cages, locker room, and other team facilities. The student employee will help maintain the high standards established for the program while gaining hands-on experience in facility and equipment operations.
Essential Duties
  • Practice management
  • Equipment Management
  • Assist with the organization of supplies & equipment
  • Field work & maintenance at the sports complex
  • Maintenance of gear & items of locker room of softball team
  • Camp workers
  • Assist with other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Current MoWest student
  • Degree Seeking
  • Enrolled in at least 6 hours
  • At least an overall 2.0 GPA
  • Ability to perform physical work outdoors
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a player or manager for a softball team preferred
  • Experience with athletic field maintenance or groundskeeping
  • Organizational skills
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Dependable
  • Great Communication skills
  • Have a good understanding of softball
Physical Demands Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
