Job Summary
The Cinematic Arts Equipment Attendant will be responsible for checking in and checking out approved cinema gear for cinematic arts student projects.
Essential Duties
  • Responsible for checking in and checking out approved cinema gear for cinematic arts student projects
  • Inspect returned equipment for damage, perform basic technical troubleshooting, and report items needing repair
  • Maintain proper records of equipment check out and check in and record maintenance issues as needed
Required Qualifications
  • MoWest Student
  • Degree Seeking
  • At least an overall 2.0 GPA
  • Enrolled at least part-time
  • Be familiar with audio/visual (A/V) components, and film equipment
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment cases (often up to 50 pounds)
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • An interest in Cinema and the desire to learn
  • Problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
Physical Demands Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
