| Job Summary | The Center for Academic Support (CAS) provides academic assistance to students through one-on-one or small group tutoring in-person and online. A writing tutor provide guided assistance to MoWest students for writing assignments from general studies courses as well as some upper-level and graduate courses. This role requires tutors to stay up-to-date on knowledge related to writing, rhetoric, and citation. Additionally, writing tutors assist with light clerical responsibilities including scheduling and documentation of tutoring appointments. |

| Physical Demands | Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. |
