Position Title Administrative Coordinator
Job Description
The Early College Academy (ECA) Administrative Assistant serves MoWest’s ECA program by assisting in the day-to-day operations of the ECA Office. The administrative assistant would provide general customer service support, monitor enrollment management programs and applications, prepare department expenditures and budgets, and provide support and guidance for key partners. Assistance with coordination and planning of on and off-campus events and some same-day travel may apply.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Oversees ECA office and provide general customer service for ECA stakeholders (students, parents, high school partners, faculty, etc).
  • Assist enrollment management programs (Banner and SLATE) and monitors the database, application, and approval process (course, parent, counselor) each semester.
  • Prepare monthly expenditures and budgets.
  • Review and monitor on-campus calendars, events, and committees.
  • Collaborate with campus departments (Admissions, Registrar, Business Office, Accounting, etc).
  • Compose confidential and non-confidential correspondence and reports.
  • Assist with preparation of professional development workshops/events.
  • Travels to local and regional high schools to support stakeholders as necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong and versatile computer skills and management of multiple platforms
  • Ability to coordinate and assist on management of events
  • Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, key stakeholders, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
  • Attention to detail; organizational skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Required Qualifications
  • High School education minimum
  • One year of specialized training in office administration or business management
  • 3 years+ of administrative support or related office experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications
  • A minimum of two (2) years working in an educational environment (K-12 or higher education)
  • Experience with Banner and/or SLATE
Physical Demands
  • Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
FLSA Non-Exempt
Additional Demands
  • Some travel may be required

Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
