Missouri Western State University is committed to maintaining a campus environment for students, faculty, staff, volunteers, and visitors that will not adversely affect their health, safety and surrounding environment, or subject them to risks of accidental injury or illness. The Director of Risk Management is responsible for identifying, analyzing, overseeing, measuring, monitoring and reporting on key risk management issues as well as developing and implementing programs which reduce the University’s exposure to risk, ensure the University’s compliance with applicable regulations pertaining to visitor and employee occupational safety and health applicable regulations related to environmental protection.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
Medium Work to Heavy Work
Exerting up to 50-100 pounds of force occasionally and/or a 10-20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body
Nights and weekends as needed.
Ability to attend campus events, which may occur outside normal working hours, as required.
Ability to address immediate, emergency needs and risks as needed.
