The Position

The Data and Platform Manager is a core role in enabling Customer Experience and Commercial Excellence across Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia by defining and implementing BI business platforms such as CRM and Data Analytics, while also supporting species, marketing, and overall business decision-making. This position goes beyond data maintenance to actively manage and continuously improve business analytics tools, dashboards, and information systems (e.g., Veeva, Ceesa, Engage Insights, Tableau). The role ensures local governance and processes are in place, aligns with global standards, and drives the delivery of actionable insights to support strategic objectives. Acting as the local owner, the manager leads testing, training, and deployment of platforms, monitors KPIs to measure effectiveness, and executes the Platform and Data Transformation Roadmap in a strategic and sustainable manner.

Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Own Data Governance and Stewardship for Veeva CRM
• Define and enforce local data governance standards to maintain high-quality customer data
• Oversee periodic data audits and implement proactive measures to ensure data integrity and compliance
• Manage and approve data change requests, segmentation uploads, and Veeva surveys, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Lead testing and validation of new Veeva features and functionality, providing strategic input for enhancements

2. Lead Sell-Out Data & CEESA Management and Insights
• Take ownership of timely and accurate integration of sell-out data and CEESA into the data warehouse
• Manage and update sell-out dashboards autonomously, ensuring usability and relevance for business decision-making
• Conduct advanced analysis of sell-out trends and provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership
• Ensure CEESA reports are aligned with local data and deliver quarterly updates to support strategic planning

3. Drive Sales Performance Reporting and Analytics
• Oversee the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Sales Performance dashboards (Sales vs Target, SFE KPIs)
• Ensure reporting frameworks are optimized for clarity, accuracy, and strategic impact
• Provide interpretation of KPIs and trends to guide commercial strategies and resource allocation

4. Champion Business Analytics and Forecasting
• Lead initiatives to enhance business analytics capabilities, forecasting accuracy, and pricing strategies
• Act as a strategic advisor to Commercial Excellence Lead, providing data-driven recommendations for business planning and reviews
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in analytics processes

5. Manage Customer Engagement Platforms and Digital Insights
• Oversee integration and optimization of customer engagement channels (CLM, digital content platforms, portals)
• Provide strategic guidance on content development based on customer insights and engagement data (Adobe Analytics, Power BI)
• Monitor and report on digital engagement KPIs, ensuring personalization, compliance, and effectiveness

About Our Future Employee

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Data Engineering, Data Management, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Strong data and business analytics skills
  • Experience with Tableau or Power BI for dashboard development and maintenance
  • Sales & Marketing experience (Selling Process, Segmentation & Targeting, Sales Incentives, etc.)
  • Excellent knowledge of CRM systems and related platforms such as Veeva CRM, including methods, processes, and data governance
  • Ability to communicate data-driven recommendations and apply a solid problem-solving approach
  • Strong leadership with accountability, change management, and project management experience
  • Results-driven, strategic thinker with solid knowledge of global selling processes
  • Detail-oriented and quality-focused in delivering outcomes
  • Animal Health industry experience (Companion & Livestock) – ideal
  • Advanced degree or certifications in analytics, CRM, or project management – ideal
  • Experience with additional BI tools and CRM integrations – ideal
