The position

Looking for a role where you are responsible not only for processing and monitoring of Travel & Expense tasks, but also take part in process optimization and development of further innovative projects within GBS Center? Help us build T&E Team for European markets.

Tasks & responsibilities

As Travel&Expense Specialist, you are responsible for:

  • Efficient, effective and accurate processing and monitoring of expense reports in SAP Concur, in line with tax, legal requirements and Boehringer Ingelheim internal guidelines.
  • Managing and efficiently prioritizing T&E tasks to ensure compliance.
  • Actively assisting and supporting T&E objectives in accordance with the management decision, ensuring and monitoring that T&E processes work properly.
  • Communicating and actively supporting Boehringer Ingelheim employees in any T&E related queries (ServiceNow tickets).
  • Supporting Concur end users through organizing training sessions and preparing different training materials or answering phone calls from employees.
  • Creating and maintaining internal process documentation.

About our future employee

You should speak English and German fluently (min. B2 level) and have at least 2 years of professional experience in the accounting area, preferably in T&E or Accounts Payable for English and German speaking country. Knowledge of additional language e.g. Italian, Spanish, French will be considered as an additional asset.

Additionally, we are looking for:

  • University degree (Finance, Business Administration or similar).
  • Experience in working with SAP Concur will be a strong asset.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skill.
  • Reliability, ability to learn new topics quickly and to transfer knowledge to others.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Understanding/knowledge of end-to-end S2P processes would be preferable but is not a must.
