Basic purpose of the job

To maximize sales and patients' health of the own products on a short and long term basis by planning and executing marketing strategies successfully

Accountabilities

Ensure achievement of target sales, growth and market share in own product

Related performance indicators

Provide leadership to the marketing and sales team to ensure that product objectives are clearly developed, communicated, understood and executed in own tasks

External Experts management and engagement

Effectively engage with External Experts and develop them as strong advocators

Understand customers and patients to identify new ways to provide innovative value to customers

Prepare high-quality Marketing plan and tactics

  • Discuss integrated Brand plan and Strategy into short/mid/long-term Marketing plans in order to customize them for Japanese market
  • Discuss product strategy and marketing plans with head of Marketing group


Execute the Marketing plan successfully

  • Ensure appropriate execution of integrated Customer Plan (ICP) at every given point
  • Discuss progress of execution with the head of Marketing group


Stay on top of current and future environmental trends and explore new ways/channels to expand/grow the business

  • Continuously explore new/innovative promotional approach and evaluate its feasibility
  • Take the initiative to design, execute and evaluate pilot programs, then feed the results and learnings back to TA members


Top line and bottom line focus. Manage cost and understand ROI for key initiatives

Monitor the product expense budget so that it is exercised in a way which guarantees the optimal utilize of available resources and results in maximal profitability for products without compromising long-term goals and objectives

Support Group Manager in team development

Provide coaching/teaching to younger members of the team on daily tasks

Ensures all tasks are carried out in accordance with respective applicable BI Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), BI processes and regulatory requirements. Ensures that all interactions and engagements are carried out with the highest ethical and professional standards and that all work is accomplished with quality and in accordance with BI values.

Minimum Education/Degree Requirements

University degree or equivalent
