SUMMARY:

REQUIREMENTS: Complete scheduling of raw material inbound loads. Control formulating of raw meat into specific product categories. Provide supervision solve problems in the overall production of products in the grinding and blending department. Be willing to work across functional areas as needed to ensure the needs of product is met. Control pre-blend meat inventory its quality to ensure USDA standards are enforced and quality attributes are maintained. Monitor product analysis using Microsoft Excel spread-sheets graphs charts and advise appropriate product changes against this data. Update all formulation files using Optimal formulations software. Must be willing to work extensively in SAP in monitoring Purchase orders and process orders for accuracy and compliance to applicable requirements according to product specification changes to ensure accurate costing. Provide input for scheduling and or reviewing work and make appropriate schedule changes based on the constant variation of the pre-blend inventory. Scheduling of raw meat to a specific schedule to assist manager in the accuracy of purchasing raw materials. Continued cross-training to execute supervisory and formulations. Perform supervisor s duties for short-term coverage and excess workload assistance. Contribute in a team work environment. Sustain focus on detail in highly routine job. Perform problem solving skills and make effective decisions. Use multi-programs and applications to produce basic output. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Contribute to a safe and organized work environment.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 3 plus years of manufacturing experience required. Computer Skills: Basic knowledge and excel.

Communication Skills: Communicate effectively to ensure product flow to next workstation.

Special Skills: Proficient knowledge of SQF preferred. Knowledge of aseptic technique. Ability to perform intermediate math equations. Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks a must. Ability to learn new skills and adapt to change as the organization continues to improve processes. Manipulate objects and manual dexterity. Required to climb ladders stairs. Must be willing to repeatedly push pull lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Be able to walk or stand for 8-12 hours per day on hard floors. Must be willing to work in an environment with the sight and smell of meat products or any other product present when processing meat such as blood fat bone spices. Must be able to work in a refrigerated area with ambient temperature of 40 degrees. Ability to withstand wet; humid cold and hot environments. Able to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment PPE . Able to pass a drug screen and physical. Must be willing to accommodate shift start time changes. Must be available to work overtime and weekends.
