Summit Truck Bodies, LLC, a quality manufacturer of custom designed service and lube truck bodies, is expanding its workforce due to increasing sales. We are looking for a Final Detailer person to join the team and ensure trucks are clean before delivery to customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare work to be accomplished by studying work order, bill of materials and blueprints.
- Wash truck exterior using cleaning solution, water, cloths and brushes.
- Vacuum truck cab and body cabinets to remove loose dirt and debris.
- Inspect body for defects.
- Apply touch-up paint and caulk as needed.
- Apply decals.
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Wear required personal protective safety equipment at all times.
- Participate in all continuous improvement.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
- Frequent mobility and/or sitting, standing, bending or stooping for prolonged / extended periods. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Requires working in areas which are not ventilated or air-conditioned.
- Requires eye-hand coordination sufficient to operate machinery.
- Requires exposure to chemicals and solvents.
- Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
- Requires hearing within normal range.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License with an MVR in good standing.
- Must have basic knowledge and understanding of automotive paint process and prep.
- Must have experience in automotive collision repair and refinishing.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Ability to work with multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Able to use hand and power tools and other equipment necessary to perform the job.
- Able to operate a forklift if required.
- Ability to successfully pass a General Abilities Assessment and Post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
