Summit Truck Bodies is looking for a Paint Robotic Programmer to monitor robots throughout the paint process and ensure quality and function.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Resolve repetitive quality defects through investigation and corrective action.
- Conduct software updates and calibrations.
- Ability to start machine, engage feed, transfer or spray applications, and observe operation.
- Inspects and measures product to verify conformance to specifications.
- Moves machine controls and guides to adjust machine.
- Program robot pathways and application controls.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on robots.
- Provide immediate corrective action to robot faults.
- Engages equipment and observes spray applications.
- Demonstrates responsibility for safety, quality and production.
- Maintain all required records.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
- Frequent mobility and / or sitting, standing, bending or stooping for prolonged / extended periods.
- Requires lifting up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Requires stretching to reach items up to 50 pounds.
- Requires working in areas which are not ventilated or air-conditioned.
- Requires eye-hand coordination sufficient to operate machinery.
- Requires exposure to chemicals and solvents.
- Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
- Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.
- Requires working in a fast-paced environment
- Requires a normal range of hearing and vision
- Must understand vague and implicit instructions and react favorably in all work situations
- Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with good standing MVR.
- 1 year of experience in robotic painting or related role preferred.
- Certified for all robotic painting operations, methods, and processes preferred.
- Excellent creativity, problem solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to utilize a computer with basic software skills.
- Ability to successfully pass a General Abilities Assessment and Post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
