| PLM is a multi-faceted family owned business that processes and ships local, sustainable, and humanely raised meats to the Kansas City area as well as the best restaurants and retail shops in the nation from coast-to-coast including New York, Boston, Washington DC, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. PLM is also at the forefront of a domestic cured meats renaissance with our own in-house program as well as working with dozens of the country’s preeminent cure masters. On a daily basis livestock is processed, cut, packaged and shipped via truck and via FedEx. The day-to-day operations at PLM can be challenging and difficult as PLM customers include the most demanding and celebrated chefs. Our business is currently growing and has multiple job openings across several hands-on departments. From packaging and processing to maintenance and equipment support, we are looking for individuals with a range of skills and experience levels.
