We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for evaluating, developing, and improving manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing testing methods, coordinating equipment maintenance, and guiding technicians through development projects. The ideal candidate brings strong problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and a solid engineering background to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Production Engineer Job Description

Duties/Responsibilities

-Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs.
-Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, research testing methods and conferring with equipment vendors.
-Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
-Assures product and processes quality by designing testing methods.
-Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, material costs.
-Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
-Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services.
-Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
-Strategizing the development process, including raw materials and machinery.
-Analyzing all facets of production and making recommendations for improvement.
-Drawing up production schedules and budgets for projects.
-All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

-Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent is required
-Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams and departments.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Flexibility to help across multiple departments.
-Leadership ability to manage challenges and oversee employees.
-Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.
-Ability to problem solve.
-Must be able to type, sit for long periods of time, and lift up to 15lbs at a time.
-Advance computer skills and software management experience.
