Requirements Include:
· BS/BA Degree preferably in Interactive Media, Digital Media, Journalism or Communications.
· 2+ years’ experience in Digital Content role, preferably in the news media industry.
· Demonstrated proficiencies in:
o Digital audience tools used in meeting audience needs and expectations.

o Content Management Systems such as Word Press, BLOX, etc.
o Managing websites and apps.
o AI tools.
o Managing multiple projects and/or deadlines.
· Sound news judgement and solid understanding of legal liabilities.
· A “big picture” thinker who considers opportunities to differentiate content between platforms.
· Strong “people skills”; ability to collaborate professionally with staff, viewers and officials.
· Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills.
· Demonstrated proficiencies in general productivity software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point)
· Previous management experience is highly desirable.
· In-office work with a base schedule of Monday-Friday, 9A-6P, that may occasionally be adjusted due to newsroom needs.
· Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
