Responsibilities include:

Represent and manage the Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) and (St Joseph Sports Commission (SJSC)’s digital presence across social media platforms and websites including content creation.
Promote events and attractions through photography, videography and graphic design skills.
Execute digital campaigns to attract visitors to Buchanan County
Manage electronic ticketing and electronic programs of the BCTB and SJSC.
Assist the SJSC with event operations and management of such. As needed.
Analyze digital metrics to measure effectiveness of campaigns and contribute to strategies designed to maximize reach and impact.
Collaborate internally among communications, sales, and sports staff to maintain consistent branding and messaging.
Design and layout of printed publications for CVB and SJSC including graphic design of advertising, invitations, logos and brand management for print projects, to include logo items.
Assist with crafting proposals, event bids, and presentations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in marketing, communications, graphic design, journalism, sports marketing or related fields.
Proven experience in digital marketing and content creation
Proven experience in graphic design
Flexibility to work nights and weekends with event management
Proficiency with platforms like Meta, WordPress, and Google Analytics, as well as familiarity with editing software in the Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Previous experience in tourism or sports marketing/event management is a plus.
