Listing Title: Development Specialist Company Name: Second Harvest Community Food Bank Title of Position: Development Specialist Description: Looking to become a leader on a dynamic team for a regional organization with a tremendous reputation and a mission to serve? Second Harvest Community Food Bank is seeking its next Development Specialist, a position to support the development of financial resources through relationship building and fundraising strategies. Responsibilities include providing support forfundraising campaigns and events, donor relations, grant writing and management, and public relations activities.

Seeking Candidates with:
• Bachelor's degree with a focus in public relations, marketing, or other related area
• Two to four (2-4) years of related job experience with education and experience sufficient to successfully perform job duties.
• Experience in nonprofit fundraising
• Grant writing experience
• Ability to work independently and as a team to meet goals and objectives
• Excellent written and oral communication skills including speaking in front of groups
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
