This position is responsible for directing the duties of Security personnel on a shift-by-shift basis. Responsible for the overall safety and security of company assets and personnel. This position's schedule is the evening shift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Safeguards the assets of the company.
  2. Implements security department policies and procedures as directed by the Safety and Security Manager.
  3. Supervises all personnel assigned to the Safety/Security Department for the protection of guests, employees, and property on a shift basis.
  4. Plans and schedules security activities for a shift.
  5. Conducts follow-up investigations on reported incidents as directed.
  6. Ensures all reportable incidents are completely documented, entered in the database, and accounted for.
  7. Investigate employee fraud against the property and customers as directed.
  8. Investigate accident reports as directed.
  9. Any reasonable request made by Management.
  10. Ensure department uniform, appearance, and grooming standards are followed and maintained.
  11. Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
  12. Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
  13. Perform all job functions in a safe and responsible manner.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

All Employees must be knowledgeable of all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be physically able to stand and walk for long periods of time regardless of weather conditions.
  • Must have broad knowledge of casino rules, regulations, and procedures, with strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills and basic computer skills.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Missouri Gaming Commission License.
