The Bartender is responsible for providing friendly, excellent service to every customer who approaches the bar. Responsible for preparing and pouring drinks for customers and cocktail servers as well as occasional food requests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain balanced cash drawer.
  • Follow all inventory procedures.
  • Complete daily Bartender duties.
  • Follow all health sanitation laws and keep your area neat.
  • Comply with state liquor laws.
  • Perform all job functions in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Keep your work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.
  • Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department, and company policies.
  • Present a courteous and friendly appearance to customers.
  • Maintain professional image and appearance at all times.
  • Any job demands made by your Supervisor, Lead, or Management.
  • Any reasonable request by your immediate Supervisor or any Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations. Must be at least 21 years of age. Excellent customer service and employee skills are essential. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Must be at least 21 years of age.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge of operating cash register and bar equipment is required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Level II Missouri Gaming Commission License, and a Missouri Server's License

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.
