This position is responsible for OSHA Process Safety Management and Environmental compliance and risk reduction at a complex chemical manufacturing location. This position will assist the Omnium division for multiple chemical manufacturing locations and will lead technical resources and manage cultural change in chemical safety and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities:

PSM/RMP - 50%

Responsible for the Corporate PSM Program related to hazardous chemicals. Ensures compliance with all Federal, State and Local requirements pertaining to OSHA Process Safety Management and EPA Risk Management Program requirements. Role will expand from plant to BU once plant programs are established and fully implemented.

Environmental Program Compliance - 20%

Manage all regulatory requirements associated with the site air emissions, stormwater permit, SPCC plan, and Wastewater permit.

Environmental Reporting – 20%

Lead the preparation of the annual EPA reports including SARA Tier II, Pesticide Production Report, and Toxic Release Inventory.

General Duties – 10%

Other chemical safety, environmental compliance or engineering tasks as required.

Education/Experience Required:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred in environmental, mechanical, chemical engineering or related field

• 3+ years of experience in the environmental compliance field
