Summary
  • This position is responsible for the routine daily work effort and also the daily, weekly, monthly, etc. preventative maintenance program. A primary goal for this role will be to drive efficiency in the routine maintenance and preventative maintenance work. A leader in rounding to establish a proactive versus reactive approach to our work. This position works under the supervision of the Director and/or Facility Manager and is employed by Mosaic Life Care.
Duties
  • Working knowledge of NFPA Fire and Safety codes, OSHA, EPA, and other health and environmental codes and standards.
  • Manage and maintain records for regulatory compliance of Joint Commission, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), EPA and NFPA.
  • Manage and maintain the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for the main hospital and all clinics.
  • Responsible prioritization and scheduling of all routine and preventative maintenance work orders. Scheduling and coordination with department leaders to ensure work is being done timely and with as little disruption as possible.
  • Daily/Weekly planning and coordination for Maintenance Department caregivers to drive efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • All required education is a minimum requirement. Higher levels of education are acceptable. H.S. Diploma or GED or HiSET equivalent required.
  • 5 Years- Regulatory/Code/Life Safety or related experience preferred.5 Years- Experience in coordination/delegation of work required3 Years- Experience in budget/performance reporting and/or oversight preferred.3 Years- Experience Maintenance/Facilities related support environment required.
  • Driver's Licence - Valid And In State- Missouri Class E Drivers License within 90 days of employment required.FEMA Incident Command System 100, 200, and 700 certifications required.EPA 608 Refrigerant Certification is required.
