Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with expertise in gastroenterological conditions and liver disease. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of diagnostic and treatment options for a wide range of GI disorders, providing exceptional care to patients while collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary team.
The team currently provides outreach services at our Maryville facility 1 day per month.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of diagnostic and treatment options for a wide range of GI disorders, providing exceptional care to patients while collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary team.
The team currently provides outreach services at our Maryville facility 1 day per month.
Position highlights:
- Consulting and diagnosing patients in clinic and/or inpatient settings
- Providing patient education and ongoing care management
- Opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment with strong physician support
- Inpatient call rotation 1 week per month with no holidays or weekends
- 15% Inpatient/85% Outpatient

- Successful completion of an APRN master’s nursing degree
- Current Missouri license preferred or the ability to obtain licensure
- Possess ability to work independently/autonomously and interdependently with other health care professionals
- Have extensive patient assessment skills using diagnostic methods and instruments with the ability to develop appropriate plan of care, modifying as indicated
- Possess effective communication skills and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and members of the health care team
- Successful completion of a CNS or APRN master’s degree in a nursing program in the specialty area or must demonstrate successful completion of a formal post-graduate track or accredited program (within the specialty area) within a school of nursing granted graduate-level academic credit (e.g. graduate, non-matriculating program)
- Licensed in state of Missouri or Kansas, depending upon designated work location. Must be currently certified by a nationally recognized certifying body acceptable to the Missouri or Kansas State Board of Nursing as well as hold and maintain a current Document of Recognition
