Mosaic Life Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our expert Cardiothoracic Surgery team at our St. Joseph facility. - Successful completion of an APRN master’s nursing degree
- Current Missouri license preferred or the ability to obtain licensure
- Possess ability to work independently/autonomously and interdependently with other health care professionals
- Have extensive patient assessment skills using diagnostic methods and instruments with the ability to develop appropriate plan of care, modifying as indicated
- Possess effective communication skills and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and members of the health care team
- Ability to read X-rays
- ICU or Cardiac Step-down experience preferred
- Successful completion of a CNS or APRN master’s degree in a nursing program in the specialty area or must demonstrate successful completion of a formal post-graduate track or accredited program (within the specialty area) within a school of nursing granted graduate-level academic credit (e.g. graduate, non-matriculating program)
- Licensed in state of Missouri or Kansas, depending upon designated work location. Must be currently certified by a nationally recognized certifying body acceptable to the Missouri or Kansas State Board of Nursing as well as hold and maintain a current Document of Recognition
