The Clinical Nurse performs patient assessment and follows established standards and practices for nursing care. May delegate responsibilities and provide clinical oversight to other unlicensed nursing staff. (Licensed RN fulfilling a role within the clinic in which an RN is not required - compensation is commensurate with the clinic LPN scale).
This position is employed by Mosaic Life Care.

Duties

Greets and prepares patient for provider examination and treatment. Performs general nursing care to patients.
Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
Assists provider with procedures and properly maintains equipment before and after procedures.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Graduate of a school of nursing is required. BSN is preferred.
RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure - State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure in state, depending upon designated work location upon hire is required. Clinical\BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 Days is required.
1 Year - Hospital or clinic nursing experience is preferred.
