Summary

  • This position is responsible for the daily sourcing data analytics of the Supply Chain group, the Sourcing Analyst develops,maintains and manages various sourcing databases, undertakes compliance and rebate tracking, develops and maintains Metric/KPI performance dashboards/scorecards and provides analytical support to Sourcing Specialists, Director of Supply Chain Operations and VP of Supply chain. The Sourcing Analyst will also be a primary data liaison with various 3rd party data partners including Vizient, GHX and ECRI. Provides training as required for caregivers regarding system and database capabilities and use. Takes on additional special projects as requested including but not limited to training, reporting, spend & utilization analysis. The Sourcing Analyst works under the supervision of the Director of Supply Chain Operationss as the subject matter expert supporting Supply Chain Sourcing activities, and is employed by Mosaic Life Care.

Duties

  • Provide Analytic support to Supply Chain Sourcing Specialists including data mining for opportunity assessment, support of sourcing initiatives (RFP data elements and evaluation). Data modeling and award option analytics, final data sign off and reporting.
  • Develop, maintain and manage standardized reporting and tracking tools including Metric Dashboards, KPI tracking, Workplan tracking and maintenance.
  • Responsible for maintaining savings tracking and liaison with Finance/Accounting staff to assure savings/impact analysis is accurate and appropriately documented.
  • Coordinates with various internal groups to ensure accuracy and availability of data sources including assessment of departmental level supply utilization highlighting variances and opportunties
  • Interface and coordinate with various 3rd party services to assure accuracy of data submissions, data requests and maximize effective utilization of those tools. Services include but not limited to; Vizient, Captis, GHX, ECRI, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree within Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Computer science or related technical field, or in pursuit of degree to be completed within 1 year is required. Master's in Business/Supply Chain/Engineering/Finance is preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in managing or supporting MMIS is preferred. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visio, Adobe, SQL/Access is required. . Computer programming or systems analyst experience is preferred. Experience with Infor MMIS is preferred. Experience in Tableau is preferred. Previous health care/Supply Chain experience is preferred.
