Summary
  • This role will be responsible for transporting medical specimens, supplies, and equipment between healthcare facilities and clinics. Additionally, the role is responsible for receipt and verification of all shipments while completing necessary processes by inputting data into the management system. They deliver in-bound shipments to the requesting department, prepare outbound shipments.
  • This position works under the supervision of the Regional Manager Distribution and Logistics and is employed by Mosaic Health System.
Duties
  • Transport medical specimens, supplies, and equipment between healthcare facilities and clinics.
  • Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and pickups.
  • Processes all in-bound shipments into the facility, ensuring accuracy of product count against the accompanying packing slip.
  • Prepares outbound doc log for delivery, secures supplies, ensures punctual collection and delivery of medical items. Ensures that the documentation corresponds to each item. Accurately counting and taking inventory of medical items to be collected or delivered.
  • Verifies packing slip information against actual product received noting any discrepancies.
  • Ensures all receipts are input into Materials Management Information System accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for expediting resolution on receipt discrepancies with the customer and/or vendor.
  • Processes all in-bound priority shipments before 11:00 am daily.
  • Prepares packaging for all outbound shipments, ensuring product matches submitted paperwork.
  • Processes and ships all out-bound shipments accurately and timely before end of day.
  • Ensures dock area is cleared of all in-bound shipments, boxes, supplies and debris by end of shift.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Must obtain a valid and in state Class E Chauffeurs Driver's License within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 Year Receiving experience required.
