Summary

This position is open to MWSU Craig School of Business students only.

This position will focus on learning how the organization operates and expected to gain valuable insight that can further chosen career field.

MLC Foundation Intern will have the opportunity to create and promote content across all communication channels for MLC Foundation. The intern may research, write, and edit video content and develop content for social media. The intern may assist with event preparation, welcome visitors, and answering inquiries, as well as specific duties related to the opening of the new Children's Discovery Center.
This position reports to the President of the Mosaic Life Care Foundation and is employed by Mosaic Health System.

Duties
  • Answer phone inquiries, direct calls, and provide basic company information.
  • Perform clerical duties, take memos, maintain files, and organize documents; photocopy, fax, etc. as needed.
  • Assist in preparing information and research materials.
  • Take notes and memos during meetings.
  • Type documents, drafts, and reports as well as create and maintain PowerPoint presentations
  • Manage databases and input information, data, and records as well as update company calendars.
  • Respond to web correspondence, social media posts, and emails
  • Research and gather documentation on company position in industry
  • Set up, break down, organize, and maintain conference rooms, training rooms, and meeting rooms
  • Attend company functions and networking events
  • Shadow multiple office positions and train in a variety of tasks
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School diploma required. Junior or Senior college level student preferred.
  • Computer knowledge required. Familiar with a variety of software program, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint is required.
