- This position evaluates, plans and implements treatment programs for the rehabilitation of patients, as directed by a provider, using approved treatment procedures. Provides patient/family education. Participates in family conferences. Responsible for all necessary documentation as required by accepted medical guidelines.
- This position works under the supervision of Manager of Therapies department and is employed by Mosaic Health System.
- Evaluates patients referred by providers.
- Plans a treatment program, using appropriate treatment procedures that will best accomplish the established goals.
- Implements the treatment program using approved procedures.
- Documents treatment procedures and the patient’s response to them, on a regular basis.
- Responsible for treatment procedures, documentation, and supervision of physical therapy assistants, physical therapy students, and Rehab Aides.
- Bachelor's Degree - Graduate of accredited school of physical therapy is required.
- Licensed Physical Therapist in State of Missouri within 60 days of hire and BLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire are required.
