- This position assignments are varied in nature according to skill, acuity of patients and organizational needs. Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and supervises individual patient care according to standards. Accepts responsibility for direction of co-workers in the implementation of plans of care. Provides exceptional service to all patients and customers.
- This position works under the supervision of a Director for either a three or six month assignment and is employed by Mosaic Health Sysem.
- Completes assessment/reassessment of patient and documents in medical record.
- Analyzes the information collected to determine patient’s needs and expected outcomes.
- Develops and implements plan of care based upon the assessment, diagnosis, and expected outcomes of patient.
- Oversees the delegation of the plan to other licensed and unlicensed personnel.
- Ensures a discharge plan is a part of the individualized plan of care as appropriate to the population served.
- Engages in patient/family/staff teaching to achieve the desired patient outcomes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Graduate of a school of nursing required, BSN preferred. All required education is a minimum requirement. Higher levels of education are acceptable.
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure- State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure in state, depending upon designated work location within 90 days of hire required. BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire required. ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support- IF working in an inpatient area in which ACLS is required within 90 days of hire required.
- 2 Years hospital based inpatient experience Required.
