Details LPN - Employee Health Services Employee Health Services Full Time Status Day Shift Pay: $19.66 - $31.46 / hour Summary This position demonstrates competence to perceive client situations and cope with routine occupational health situations, relying on the judgments department RN's (Employee Health Nurses) and other occupational health professionals for complex scenarios. This position performs primarily clinical and administrative support functions focused on safe, consistent, and quality occupational health care under the direction of a department RN. This position works under the supervision of the Manager and is employed by Mosaic Health System. Duties Clinical and primary care: Acquires general and occupational health histories; Assesses and identifies common occupational and non-occupational health conditions; Maintains current knowledge of treatment modalities and protocols applicable to occupational health and able to apply routine care to clients meeting these criteria; Documents all aspects of assessment, care, and plan Case Management: Identifies the need for case management intervention by following criteria established by department employee health nurse Regulatory/Legislative: Demonstrates compliance with laws and regulations governing work and nursing care performed; Reviews recommended and/or published guidelines that may impact occupational health nursing practice, workers, and our organization Management: Assures the timely delivery of occupational health services and programs provided by the department using accepted and standard techniques; Participates with team members in problem solving activities and in evaluating programs and services; Handles routine dilemmas in the ethical provision of occupational health nursing care; timely communicates up those that may need expert consultation in order to resolve Professionalism: Maintains fundamental scientific, regulatory, and business knowledge appropriate to occupational health nursing; Implements an ethical framework for occupational health nursing practice Other duties as assigned Qualifications Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program. LPNIV - Lpn Iv Cert in the State of Missouri or Kansas, depending upon designated work location within 90 days Clinical\BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days. Non Clinical\AZDL - Driver Licence - Valid And In State If operating a motor vehicle for business purposes. IV certified upon hire or within 1 year. 1 year of Hospital or clinic nursing experience.
