Summary
  • This position coordinates clinical schedules and staffing on a daily basis. Assists with facilitating staffing resources, including supplemental staff and reassignment of staff in collaboration with leaders for optimum utilization of personnel. Performs a variety of clerical functions and tasks.

  • This position works under the supervision of the Director and Associate Director Talent Mobility Center of Excellence and is employed by Mosaic Health System.
Duties
  • Calculate suggested staffing requirements based on patient census and other staffing guidelines. Compare to available staffing and suggest alignment as needed.
  • Receives daily sick/absent calls, reassigns staff and makes calls to cover as needed.
  • Receives phone calls, answers staffing and personnel questions when appropriate, and relays messages as needed.
  • Processes staffing changes by updating daily staffing boards.
  • Coordinate assignment of float pool and PRN staff to meet the needs of the patients.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • All required education is a minimum requirement. Higher levels of education are acceptable. High school diploma required.
  • ANSOF training, knowledge of computer programs, and 4-6 weeks on-the-job training required.
