Summary
  • This position is responsible for intermediate-level support, configuration and managing of multiple imaging applications (RIS, Radiology PACS, SCImage, Ambra, etc). The Application Analyst II - Imaging consults with organizational clinicians, staff, and vendors of the imaging applications and is responsible for the configuration, testing, problem identification, issue resolution, and on-going support of the assigned imaging applications. The Application Analyst II – Imaging possesses the intermediate technical expertise to support multiple imaging applications.
  • This position is employed by Mosaic Health Systems.
Duties
  • Primary responsibility for support, configuration and managing multiple imaging applications, including RIS, Radiology PACS, SCIMAGE, Ambra, etc., including workstations.
  • Performs intermediate support and configuration of imaging applications. Perform daily monitoring of applications in production use; including 24/7 on call coverage when you are scheduled.
  • Adhere to organization standards for system configuration and change control processes.
  • Manages changes to specifications; prioritize, coordinate, and implement requested changes to the system; reviews and tests all changes.
  • Support all Radiology modalities hardware and software.
  • Performs testing of new installations and updates for radiology software.
  • Works closely with organization clinicians, staff, and vendors of imaging applications and responsible for issue resolutions, on-going support, testing and configuration.
  • Contributes/Takes instructions in team and project meetings. Works closely with team/department members.
  • Develops competence in mentoring new analysts.
  • Develops and maintains knowledge of Imaging workflows. Understands server protocols and specifications and how information can flow between systems.
  • Oversees daily maintenance and monitoring of imaging systems.
  • Ability to work on assigned projects both independently and as part of a team.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • H.S. Diploma is required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2 Years Imaging Applications required.
    3 Years Imaging Applications preferred.
