Summary
  • This position is responsible for the Building Management and Controls System, scheduling and overseeing maintenance for the HVAC equipment and equipment associated with HVAC . This position ensures that logs and reports are kept current for regulatory compliance.
  • This position works under the supervision of the Director and/or Manager and is employed by Mosaic Health System.
Duties
  • Plan ahead for maintenance and repair of equipment. Ensure air handling units are operating at correct capacities. Coordinate maintenance and repairs for utility plant equipment to include boilers, chillers, steam lines and auxiliary power systems.
  • Maintain records for regulatory compliance.
  • Isolate, troubleshoot and repair: pumps, steam turbines, fans, piping, valves, electro-pneumatic valves, motors, motor controllers, generators, HVAC systems, fire dampers, duct work and all associated equipment.
  • Prepare work orders, request for budget, and complete preventative maintenance forms. Purchase supplies for construction and remodeling work .
  • Contacts are primarily with other Mosaic staff for purpose of work coordination and information sharing. Additional contacts with vendors and manufacturers are the purpose of work coordination and information sharing.
Qualifications
  • High School graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Approved EPA CFC license. Valid driver's license required. First C lass Boiler Operator's License preferred.
  • Three years verifiable experience maintaining high pressure boilers, chillers, air handling equipment, roof top units, and working with auxiliary power sources.
