Duties/ Responsibilities of Purchasing Lead
- Meeting with suppliers
- Obtaining quotes
- Reviewing material lists for accuracy on jobs and create purchase orders
- Works with other departments to meet the needs of our customers
- Works with production team to complete on time deliveries
- Supervise others within the purchasing team.
- All other duties assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience
- Must have a strong computer background
- Proficient in excel
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings
- Background in purchasing steel sheets, bars, etc. preferred
Starting at $25/hr
