Are you ready to keep supply chains moving safely and efficiently? Hillyard is looking for a Transportation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll coordinate shipments, support drivers, and help ensure products reach customers and vendors on time, every time.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate shipments to ensure safe, on-time, and cost-effective delivery
Partner with distribution and safety teams to align schedules and compliance needs
Monitor driver performance and coach for continuous improvement
Stay up to date with DOT regulations and evolving transportation technologies
Manage transportation costs, reports, and driver payroll
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training for drivers

Qualifications Include:

3–5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and driver compliance
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Comfortable analyzing performance data and finding cost-saving solutions
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation systems
CDL and driving experience a plus
